Three vehicles collided on the Third Mainland Bridge in Lagos on Thursday, injuring one person and confirming the death of an unidentified male adult.
According to reports, the incident occurred around the UNILAG Waterfront end of the bridge at approximately 10.15 a.m.
A Ford bus carrying food from Mile 12 to Lagos Island, a Toyota Camry, and an Opel vehicle were all involved in the multiple accidents.
Our correspondent received confirmation of the incident from Taofiq Adebayo, the spokesperson for the Lagos State Traffic Management Authority.
According to Adebayo, the Toyota Camry collided with the two other vehicles because a tire burst while it was moving.
The other person was taken to the hospital after suffering severe injuries.
He continued, “LASTMA officials and Oworonsoki policemen were also on the ground to manage the traffic situation.”
