21 YEAR OLD MAN KILLS NEIGHBOUR FOR MAKING ADVANCES TO HIS WIFE

A 30 year old Abubakar Muhammadu has been killed by 21 year old Audu Umar on the ground that the former was making advances to his wife.

Audu is currently in the custody of the Niger State Police Command and has openly said that he does not regret killing Muhammadu because he is fond of making advances to married women in the village.

He declared that he was satisfied with executing judgment upon the victim insisting he is ready to face the consequence of his action.

Audu and Muhammadu hail from Wawa village in New Bussa in Borgu Local Government Area of Niger state.

It was learnt that Hassana Audu, the suspect’s wife, reported to her husband that the deceased had disturbed her for relationship which she refused but he continued disturbing her.

The suspect claimed he had warned the deceased several times to desist from making advances to his wife which he refused and this provocated him beyond reason, he attacked him with a machete, inflicted deep cuts on his head which resulted to his death.

The Command Public Relations Officer, Mohammad Abubakar, has assured the concerned parties that the matter would be charged to court after proper investigation has been carried out.
