ACE COMEDIAN, HELEN PAUL BAGS A Ph.D FROM THE UNIVERSITY OF LAGOS

Popular Nigerian actress and comedian, Helen Paul has bagged a Ph.D in Theatre Arts from the University of Lagos.

Helen a.k.a Tatafo is a stand-up comedian characterized by a voice range at makes her sound like a child, is the first among her Nigerian colleagues to bag a Ph.D.
The comedian, who doubles as a singer announced the news on her instagram handle on Friday, March 29, 2019.

Helen has not only worked as a freelance presenter but also as a full time presenter at several media houses in Nigeria including Lagos Television, Continental Broadcasting Service, and MNet (where she currently co-presents “JARA” on Africa Magic).

The comedian has announced that her convocation will be coming up on Thursday, 4th of April. She used the medium to invite her friends and lovers. She also didn’t forget to thank her husband for pushing her and being there for her at all times.

She is well decorated when it comes to receiving accolades, in 2012 she was awarded Exquisite Lady of the year by the African Film Awards, in 2014 she woin the award for Female TV Presenter of the Year, TV Presenter of the Year (Jara, Africa Magic), in the same 2014 she was named Female outstanding presenter by the Nigerian Broadcasters Merit Awards (NBMA) to name but a few.
