AL-SHABAAB ATTACK LEAVES 11 PEOPLE INJURED IN SOMALIA

Somalian Police have reported that about 11 people were wounded when gunmen set off explosions and stormed government ministries in Somalia’s capital on Saturday in an attack carried out by the Al-Shabaab Islamist group.

The assault began when two explosions set off near the ministries of public works and labour. However, reports have it that five people, including the country’s deputy labour minister, have been killed in the extremist attack on a government building in the capital.

The attack was carried out by the Al-Shabaab Islamist group, which is fighting an armed insurrection in Somalia against what it sees as heretic and foreign influence.
