Former Arsenal striker, Ian Wright, has said the club will not finish in the top four this season because it is out of reach.

Wright has advised Arsenal manager, Unai Emery to concentrate on trying to win the Europa League which would see them qualify for the Champions League next season. Arsenal currently sit sixth on the Premier League table, one point behind Manchester United in fifth and three points behind Chelsea in fourth.

A top four finish is still very much possible but the Red Devils’ brilliant form and Chelsea’s points advantage put them in the driving seat over the Gunners. He further said that the unbeaten run the gunners enjoyed at some point this season was an epitome of false hope. He didn’t dispute the fact that it was a great run.

He has advised Unai Emery to focus on winning the Europa League since he has some pedigree in winning the competition and also, arsenal have some major players who have just returned from injury.
