Arsenal resumed the Premier League with a 3-0 loss against second-placed Manchester City at the Etihad stadium on Wednesday evening.
The key moment of the game was the awful performance of David Luiz in the game. He came on as a substitute in the first half for Pablo Mari and made a huge mistake which led to the first goal before conceding a penalty and get sent off in the process.
After the game, Mikel Arteta commented on the awful performance of the former Chelsea defender.
Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta was of the opinion that everything went wrong from the first minute. Every possible accident that could have happened hopefully happened today, he said.
Speaking on David Luiz’ s performance he was quoted saying, “He is someone that is very honest and straight forward. My opinion on David Luiz hasn’t changed. It won’t change because he had a difficult performance tonight.”
