Atiku’s wife attacked by Hoodlums in Oyo State

Mrs Titi Abubakar, wife of the former Vice president and presidential candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party, Alhaji Atiku Abubakar was reportedly attacked by a suspected mob who demanded for money. This sad incident happend on Friday. The mob were said to be political thugs at the Sarkin sasa house around ojoo area in Ibadan, Oyo State.

Mrs. Abubakar arrived Oyo state about two days ago to solicit support for her husband who is running for the presidential seat in the February 26 elections.

She already had a fruitful conversation with Sarkin sasa and the entire Hausa community before hoodlums in the area attacked her convoy asking for money. Even after given some money, a faction of the thugs still went riot and injured some supporters in the convoy.

Alhaji Olopoenia, A chieftain of the PDP in Oyo state, Alhaji Bisi Olopoenia, confirmed the development but promised that the party will investigate the attack on the toothless visitors.
