BANDITS SACK 10 VILLAGES IS KATSINA, KILLS 1

Reports have it that one person has been killed in Kastina around Ruma Tsohowa local government on Wednesday night. The sudden attack has displaced over 2,000 women and children as they are all taking refuge at a primary school in Batsari.

The said bandits attacked a village called Kasai of the same Ruma Tsohowa over the weekend where they killed a soldier and five civilians. Reports have it that the terrotists attack at least two villages per day.

Their last operation was carried out in Ruma Tsohowa last night (Wednesday) where one person was killed and they carted away so many animals.

The villages sacked include; Garin Labo, Garin Yara, Kasai, Sabon Garin Dunburawa, Dantudun Garin Yara, Shingi and Garin Dodo to mention but a few.

The spokesperson of the Katsina State Police Command, SP Gambo Isah, said it is not that the bandits sacked the villagers but the people are apprehensive of the heavy presence of security men in the area.
