Nigerian singer Olubankole Wellington, widely known as Banky W, has successfully undergone his fourth cancer surgery. In an emotional Instagram post on Thursday, the “Made For You” artist shared his gratitude for his recovery.
Banky W expressed heartfelt thanks to his wife, family, friends, and pastors for their unwavering support and prayers. He also commended his medical team, including Dr. Onyewu and Dr. Adenuga, for their exceptional care.
In his post, accompanied by a video, he wrote, “Christ 4 – Cancer Tumors 0.” He reflected on the power of faith, noting, “Faith won’t always prevent the storms, but it will carry you through them. It won’t stop the hurt, but it will help you heal.”
He shared this testimony to encourage others facing challenges, emphasizing that, “Greater is He that is in you than anything you will face in this world.”
Banky W concluded with gratitude for his doctors at the Center for Advanced Specialty Surgery and Euracare, celebrating yet another victory over cancer. “All things work together for good to those who love God,” he quoted, hopeful that this victory is final.
