BAYERN MUNICH TOPS BUNDESLIGA TABLE FOR THE FIRST TIME SINCE SEPTEMBER

Bayern Munich warmed up for thier champions league match against an in form Liverpool by knocking Borussia Dortmund off the top of the Bundesliga for the first time since September with a 6-0 thrashing of Wolfsburg on Saturday.

Bayern Munich, play host to Liverpool on Wednesday in their Champions League, last 16, return leg clash after a goalless draw at Anfield. The German club topped the bundlesliga table on goal difference as Dortmund had a tough game in which late goals were needed to win 3-1 at home to Stuttgart.

Ace striker, Robert Lewandowski ran riot in Munich as he scored a brace which has taken his goal tally to 20 from 17 games. Young talent, Sergne Gnabry, James Rodriguez and Joshua Kimmich were left to complete the rout.
