The Department of State Services (DSS) has spoken on Sunday’s clash with Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB) members in Enugu State.
Peter Afunanya, Public Relations Officer, narrated the incident in a statement Sunday night.
He said a patrol team was attacked in the Emene area by IPOB members.
The spokesman noted that the DSS lost two personnel.
DSS condoled with their families and prayed for the repose of the departed souls.
The agency announced that all measures have been put in place to ensure that their killers and everyone involved in the act are apprehended and brought to justice.
“Consequently, a full-scale investigation will be carried out with regard to the incident.”
