No fewer than five persons suspected to be herdsmen were killed yesterday when Boko Haram terrorists invaded communities of Moduri, Kelewa and Ngudori of Magumeri local government area of Borno State.
It was gathered that the victims were killed while attempting to plead with the terrorists not to go with their cows, which was their only means of livelihoods.
The terrorists however carted away 480 cows after committing the atrocities, leaving one of the herdsmen in the pool of his blood as a result of the gunshots.
This was disclosed by the secretary of Magumeri Local Government Area, Alhaji Ali Kyari in Maiduguri on Sunday.
