BUHARI AND APC WELCOME FORMER PDP NATIONAL FINANCIAL SECRETARY

On wednesday, President Muhammadu Buhari received Mr Anani Bolaji, the former National Financial Secretary of the Peoples Democratic Party, and his entourage into the All Progressives Congress.

The defectors were given a warm welcome at the All Progressive Congress Presidential Campaign Rally inside the U.J Esuene Stadium in Calabar. The President of the country has promised that his administration will continue to improve the nation’s economy and fight corruption.

Mr Adams Oshiomole, the National Chairman of the APC, has said that Buhari deserves a second term in view of his giant strides in office. He has further pointed an accusing finger at former president, Olusegun Obasanjo, for presiding over the fragile give away of the Oil rich Bakassi Peninsula to Cameroon. He added that Obasanjo gave out the Bakassi peninsula for the sake of the Nobel Peace prize he was hoping to win but eventually did not win it.

The APC governorship candidate in the state, Sen. John Owan-Enoh, assured President Buhari of mass votes from Cross River on February 16. Owan-Enoh said that the broom revolution that started in 2015 would emerge victorious in 2019.
