The president of the country, Muhammadu Buhari has urged Nigerians to come out in their numbers when the time comes for them to perform their civic duties of electing whom to lead them in the next political dispensation.

Speaking at a national broadcast today, Buhari told Nigerians that the general election scheduled for Saturday, 16th February, 2019 is a choice between going backward or keeping with the momentum of CHANGE which, according to him, the country has been enjoying since his administration took over power in 2015.

President Buhari, in his speech, also assured Nigerians and the internationals in the country who have come to observe the election, of utmost security during and after the election.

He further promised that his government would ensure that the February 16 election is free and fair and he also pleased with the youths not to allow themselves be used to cause instability in the country reminding them that they are the leaders of tomorrow.
