Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN) Appoints New Spokesperson to Enhance Communication Strategies


Dr. Isa Abdulmumin has been appointed acting director of the Corporate Communications Department at the Central Bank of Nigeria.

Abdulmumin, who previously held the position of deputy director, succeeded Osita Nwanisobi, who left the bank on Friday and had been director of corporate communications since 2021.

After serving in that capacity since October 2020, Nwanisobi was appointed director of the CBN’s Corporate Communications Department in September 2021.

Nwanisobi previously held the positions of special assistant to the deputy governor in charge of financial system stability from 2009 to 2011, and special assistant to the deputy governor in charge of corporate services from 2001 to 2009.
