Chelsea FC chase Enzo Fernandez as Arsenal considers Jorginho signing

Before the end of the January transfer window, Arsenal are considering an offer for Chelsea’s midfielder, Jorginho.

After Thomas Partey and Mohamed Elneny suffered injuries, Arsenal have few options in the midfield. Reports have it that the 31-year-old Jorginho is an option to strengthen the position.

Jorginho’s contract is set to expire this summer, so Chelsea may decide to let him leave for a fee before Tuesday’s deadline for signing new players. They may, however, be reluctant to aid in the development of their London rivals, who are vying for the Premier League crown this season.
Additionally, Chelsea is looking to add a midfielder before the transfer window closes.

After previous attempts to sign Benfica star Enzo Fernandez were rejected by the Portuguese team, they are said to have increased their offer to £105 million ($130 million). Graham Potter’s team may sell Jorginho this month to make room for the Argentine, and Everton circle Conor Gallagher has also been linked with leaving.
