Chelsea came from behind to ease past Sheffield United 4-1 at Stamford Bridge and extend their unbeaten league run to six matches.

David McGoldrick gave the visitors a ninth-minute lead against the run of play as he flicked in Sander Berge’s shot.

Tammy Abraham equalised for Chelsea on 23 minutes, converting a cutback from Mateo Kovacic, who had been played in by Hakim Ziyech.

After Timo Werner had struck the bar, Chelsea went ahead in the 34th minute when Ben Chilwell was first to meet Ziyech’s cross at the far post.

Frank Lampard’s side sealed their win with two late goals inside four minutes, as Thiago Silva headed in Ziyech’s corner and Werner seized a loose ball to score.

Chelsea go third on 15 points, while Sheffield United drop to the bottom with just one point.
