It has been reported that Alhaji Isa Funtua, a close ally of President Muhammadu Buhari, is dead.
Funtua reportedly died on Monday after suffering cardiac arrest.
This was confirmed on Twitter by President Muhammadu Buhari’s spokesmen, Bashir Ahmed.
He wrote, “Inna lillahi wa inna ilaihi raji’un! Just heard about Mallam Ismaila Isa Funtua’s sudden death.
“This life! May Allah accept his soul, forgive his shortcomings and grant him Jannah al-Firdaus.” he wrote.
