President Muhammadu Buhari has been asked by the Conference of Nigeria Political Parties (CNPP) to sack the information Minister, Lai Mohammed and the Presidential Spokesman, Garba Shehu.

The duo has been accused by the of continuous misinformation of Nigerians and turning the country into a laughing stock.

The call for Buhari to sack the duo was made on Sunday by the Secretary-General, CNPP, Willy Ezugwu, in reaction to the duo’s comment on Transparency International Corruption Index report.

He described them as major liabilities, saying that they have contributed to the poor image of the APC government.

Noting that the Buhari administration would have been successful without the two the CNPP said the officials have been working hard, but unsuccessfully, to discredit the current corruption rating of Nigeria.
