President Bola Tinubu expressed dissatisfaction with the Nigeria Labour Congress (NLC) protest, arguing that his administration, in its infancy of nine months, should not be judged prematurely.

Speaking at the inauguration of the Lagos Rail Mass Transit (LRMT), Tinubu emphasized the need for patience and highlighted ongoing efforts to combat corruption.

He commended Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu’s contributions to the project and stressed the importance of continued development at both national and sub-national levels.

Tinubu also urged perseverance in the face of economic challenges and reiterated his commitment to progress.

Regarding the NLC’s actions, he asserted that they should engage in electoral processes rather than resorting to strikes.
