EDISON CAVANI EXTENDS HIS CONTRACT TO KEEP HIM AT OLD TRAFFORD TILL JUNE 2022

Edison Cavani has now agreed a one year extension to keep him at Manchester United until June 2022.

The striker has been in red hot form in recent weeks, scoring eight and assisting three in his last seven games, so it is a no brainer for manager, Ole Gunnar Solskjaer.

The news about his extension is a boost to Solskjaer, who sees the Uruguayan as a mentor to others in the squad as well as being an asset for his goal contributions.

Cavani was quoted saying, “Over the season, I have developed a great affection for the club and everything that it represents. I feel a deep bond with my team-mates and the staff who work behind the scenes here”.
