El Rufai Promises to deliver 90 percent votes to Buhari Ahead of the 2019 election

Nasir El-Rufai, Kaduna State Governor, at the launch of the APC presidential campaign on Friday in Kaduna has promised to deliver about 90 percent of the Kaduna votes to President Muhammadu Buhari in forth coming electio

He added that Kaduna, Kano and Kastina, gave the president a whooping 25% vote in the 2015 election and he has promised to do better and give the President 30 percent of the votes this year.

He was quoted saying, “In Kaduna in 2015, the President got over a million votes but the masses will give the President 90% votes this year by God’s grace”. He added that the 16th of February is his birthday, therefore I urge you all to present me with votes for the President as my birthday gift,” the governor said.

The Governors of Lagos, Kebbi and Zamfara States have also emphasized the need to vote for all APC candidates in the forthcoming election.

El-Rufai further stated that the APC would continue to campaign on issues that will benefit Nigerians only.
”The President is a person of social justice who will give equal opportunities to all”.

The governor of Kebbi, Atiku Bagudu mentioned that the President deserves to be re-elected as all the 36 states have benefitted from his administration.
