Norwegian footballer Erling Haaland has expressed his enjoyment of playing under the tutelage of Pep Guardiola at Manchester City, as they inch closer to a potential treble in his first season in England.

Haaland recently set a new Premier League record of 35 goals in a season and has scored a total of 51 goals in all competitions.

Manchester City’s victory against West Ham has put them one point ahead of Arsenal at the top of the table, with a game in hand still to come.

They also have upcoming fixtures against Real Madrid in the Champions League semi-finals and Manchester United in the FA Cup final.

Prior to Haaland’s arrival, Manchester City had won consecutive league titles without a designated striker.

However, any doubts about his ability to fit into Guardiola’s system have since been dispelled. Haaland admitted that playing for Guardiola is a challenge as he demands a lot, but he tries to develop and give his best on the pitch.
