Sanusi Lamido Sanusi was dethroned in March 2020 and banished to Nasarawa State by the governor of Kano State, Alhaji Ganduje.
He later moved to Lagos State with the support of Kano State governor, Nasir El rufai who appointed him into the board of Kaduna Investment Promotion Agency (KADIPA) and made him Chancellor of the Kaduna State University (KASU).
Suffice it to say that, since those appointments, the naturally vociferous Sanusi has kept his counsel on political and socio-economic developments to himself.
