FEDERAL GOVERNMENT ANNOUNCE FOURTH PHASE OF LOCKDOWN

To further contain the spread of the deadly corona virus, the Federal Government has now announced the fourth phase of lockdown.

The viral disease broke out last year and threatened the lives of many while others lost their lives to the pandemic. It has become the responsibility of the government to further assess and give necessary measures to make sure we don’t have a pandemic on our hands once more.

However, it is important that we know that the phase four lockdown isn’t a total lockdown but a partial one.

The Federal government has made it known that there will be restrictions on bar, event centres, and night clubs to prevent gathering of people on these confined spaces.

Also, there will be curfew between 12am and 4pm effective from Tuesday’s midnight.

On another hand, religious gatherings and weddings will be reduced to not more than 50 participants.

Lastly, conferences will be suspended and international travels will only be allowed in cases where they are very important.

It is worthy of note that all usual Covid preventive guidelines will remain in place during this period to prevent another outbreak.
