The Federal Government has announced its decision to extend the deadline for registration of the National Identity Number, NIN.
The extension of the registration is by 8 weeks.
This information was contained in a statement issues and signed by Mr. Kayode Adegoke, Head, Corporate, Nigeria Identity Management Commission, NIMC.
Part of the statements read this :“The ongoing National Identification Number (NIN) and Subscriber Identity Module (SIM) integration exercise has been extended by 8 weeks, with a new deadline of April 6, 2021,”
The extension of the registration process is a timely and welcomed decision.
