A devastating gas explosion occurred in the Tejuosho NTA 10 area of Lagos State on Wednesday, igniting a massive fire that destroyed over 300 wooden shanties.
The fire also impacted the nearby Saint Heritage Children School on Adedapo Street, off Aralile Street in Surulere.
“Over 300 shanties were razed by the fire following a gas explosion at Tejuosho NTA Channel 10,” reported NTA. Residents and business owners are grappling with significant losses.
An eyewitness, speaking on Mic on TV, called for immediate help: “We need emergency response at Adedapo Street, off Aralile Street, Surulere.”
Fortunately, no casualties or injuries have been reported at this time.
