Senator Orji Kalu, the former governor of Abia State, has announced that his first wife, Mrs. Ifeoma Kalu, has passed away at the age of 61.
The former governor and Senate Chief Whip wrote, “Ifeoma was a woman of virtue who was committed to the service of God and humanity” in a post signed by him on his official social media page.
Kalu wrote, “We announce the passing on to the eternal glory of Mrs. Ifeoma Ada Kalu aged 61 with a heavy heart and pain.”
She was a woman of integrity who was dedicated to serving humanity and God.
A memorial service is scheduled to hold in The United States of America in her honor.
During this trying time, he urged the public to pray for Mrs. Ifeoma and her loved ones.
