The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) currently holds the former Governor of Benue State, Samuel Ortom, at its Makurdi custody. According to reports, Ortom responded to an invitation and arrived at the Makurdi zonal office of the anti-graft agency on Tuesday morning, located at Alor Gordon Street.Ortom’s presence at the EFCC office is in connection with an ongoing investigation into allegations of financial misappropriation during his tenure as a government official.
