During the process of the trials, Governor Akala sold the land to Aare Arisekola Alao, the muslim scholar later got to know that the land was seized from Ladoja and he didn’t want an issue with Ladoja who he holds in high esteem, he presented the land as a gift to Governor Ajimobi who started constructing a house on it, along the line the EFCC charges against Governor Ladoja was dropped after 9 years of investigation and the matter of the land sprung up.
