GOVERNOR EL-RUFAI ASSURES THAT BANDITS WILL BE DEFEATED

The Kaduna State Governor, Nasir El-Rufai, has assured the people of the state that bandits terrorizing the state will be defeated.

The governor during a visit by the Chief of Air Staff, Air Marshal Isiaka Amao on Wednesday gave the assurance and also showonstrated his commitment to defeating the bandits in the state.

The governor also commended security agencies for their fight against banditry and insurgency in Nigeria, he also assured that he would not allow bandits to disrupt the education system in the state.

In attendance were government officials, heads of security agencies, civil society and religious groups.

Air Marshal Amao declared that his visit was to assess how prepared the Air Training Command, whose personnel are fighting the bandits in the North-West are.

The governor had also declared in a previous statement that his government will not negotiate with bandits.
