Osun State Governor, Gboyega Oyetola during a courtesy visit by the management of the Ladoke Akintola University led by the Vice Chancellor,Prof. Ologunde Michael, declared openly that the state is committed to the joint ownership of the University.
According to him, his administration would not relent in its efforts to promote and support things that would strengthen the bond of the joint ownership of the university by Osun and Oyo States.
He promised to further support the university to maintain its standard, saying that his government remained resolute to meet up with its responsibility as stipulated by the law on the joint ownership of the university to make the institution a great citadel of knowledge.
Meanwhile, the Vice Chancellor of LAUTECH, Professor Ologunde commended the administration of Oyetola for prioritizing education. He also thanked the state government for pledging massive support to the development of the university.
