The long-awaited album “Timeless,” by Afrobeat star David Adeleke, better known as Davido, has finally been released.
In the early hours of Friday, the music icon informed his numerous fans that the 17-track album would be available for purchase.
The ‘OBO’ singer likewise discussed the interaction he went through from his past collection to the most recent.
Davido also paid tribute to his wife, Chioma Rowland, and thanked his fans and those who helped the project succeed.
“Now, finally, we are back. Davido wrote on Twitter, “The journey from my last album to this album has been a whirlwind to say the least.”
He said he sat and gazing over the sea in the no so distant past, “contemplating whether I could arrive once more, after all I’ve experienced… however with your affection and backing, we made it.
“I wanted to give you my heart, soul, and energy. I’m not sure what comes next. I present to you today “TIMELESS.”
“I have a lot of people to thank for making this possible, but first, I want to express my gratitude to @thechefchi, the strongest woman I know!
“I just want to say thank you. I also adore all of my supporters. Enjoy now! I’ll see you all on street soon!” the music star added.
Fave, Asake, and Cavemen, as well as British-Nigerian rapper Skepta, multi-Grammy winner Angelique Kidjo, South African singer Musa Keys, and Jamaican Dancehall star Dexta Daps, are among the exciting artists on the album.
