I Deserve A Guinness World Record- President Tinubu

President Bola Tinubu, speaking at the 10th German-Nigerian Business Forum in Berlin, asserted his rightful place in the annals of history, citing his track record of transformative initiatives. With emphasis on his impactful tenure as Lagos State governor from 1999 to 2007, Tinubu underscored his role in propelling the state to become the fifth largest economy in Africa.

Highlighting his private sector background, including roles at Deloitte and Exxon Mobil, Tinubu emphasized his governance style and the pivotal reforms undertaken from the onset of his presidency. He proudly proclaimed, “Nigeria voted for me for reforms, and from day one of my inauguration, I started the reforms. If not acknowledged in the Guinness Book of Records, I’d find a way to insert myself.”

Tinubu’s remarks coincided with pivotal agreements inked between Nigerian and German companies, further cementing ties between the two nations.
