Chelsea fans were full of praise for Higuain as the striker scored his first goals since arriving on loan from Juventus in the January transfer window.

Chelsea’s Head coach, Sarri, had nothing but praise for the in form striker as he was quoted saying ” Higuain is improving, He wasn’t physically at the top when he arrived, because he had a back problem and wasn’t involved, so only played a few matches. He is a great player. Apart from the goals, he is really very suitable to play very close to Eden.”

The Argentine gave the fans something to scream about in the 16th minute at Stamford Bridge as N’golo Kante played him a fine pass to beat the offside trap and the striker scored his first with ease. Chelsea’s second goal came in form of a penalty as refree, Paul Tierney, saw that Azpilicueta was handled roughly in the area before Hazard stepped up to double their lead.

The Belgium international made it 3-0 on 66 minutes, and just three minutes later Higuain got his second, curling in a shot from the edge of the area, with the help of a deflection.

The much needed win ended a troubled week for Sarri, following Wednesday’s 4-0 loss to Bournemouth – their heaviest league defeat in 23 years.
