Senator Elisha Abbo who is now quite popular after he assaulted a nursing mother at an adult toy shop in Abuja was called for questioning at the Federal Capital Territory police command yesterday .
Senator Abbo is a member of the People’s Democratic Party and he is a lawmaker representing Adamawa North Senatorial district.
Reports have it that the senator met with Mr Adamu Muhammed, the Inspector General of police at the force headquarters before he proceeded to the command for questioning. The Inspector General asked the police commissioner to carry out a forensic investigation as regards the matter.
The police commissioner has now confirmed that senator Abbo has being detained to enable detectives complete investigation on the alleged assault.
