INSPECTOR GENERAL OF POLICE BAN USE OF TINTED GLASSES IN NIGERIA

It is no news that insecurity has nearly crippled the nation. Nigeria as we speak is heading towards instability which has proven to be very disturbing.

In a stead to curtail some of the acts of insecurity, the Inspector-General of Police, Usman Alkali Baba, has now announced the immediate suspension of tinted vehicle windscreens in Nigeria.

This announcement was made on Monday during a meeting with senior police officers including DIGs and Commissioners from across the states.

While making the announcement, he reiterated that roadblocks remain prohibited in the country and warned that heads of commands must enforce it and key into the road patrol strategy as an alternative to roadblocks.
