The government of Kaduna State, led by Governor Nasir Ahmad el-Rufai, has announced the reinstatement of 1,266 primary school teachers who were fired in June 2022 due to a government-organized competency test.

In a statement that was released on Wednesday by its Public Relations Officer, Hauwa Mohammed, the Kaduna State Universal Basic Education Board (KADSUBEB) made the announcement.

In the explanation, Mohammed made sense of that, the educators are to promptly gather their reestablishment letters from their particular Training Secretaries.

As per the Master, “the Kaduna State government has supported the restoration of 1,266 elementary teachers prior withdrew after the ability test in June 2022.

“The government approved the reinstatement of 392 teachers who wrote and passed the test, 515 Central Administration staff members who are officially exempt from the test, and 298 teachers who were verified to be sick at the time of the test and had a valid medical excuse backed by a doctor’s certificate,” the government said.

“Others reestablished are educators who were accounted for by their particular Schooling Secretaries, to have been casualties of grabbing or associated with mishaps.

“Eventually, 22 teachers were removed from the payroll permanently due to unsubstantiated claims. The statement read, “All reinstated teachers are to immediately collect their reinstatement letters from their respective Education Secretaries.”
