KANO STATE POLICE COMMAND ARREST MAN WHO RAPES 40 WOMEN IN ONE YEAR

The spokesperson of the Kano State Police Command, ASP Abdullahi Kiya has disclosed that it will soon prosecute the man arrested for raping 40 women in Kano.

Police on Tuesday arrested 32-year-old Muhammad Zulfarau Alfa in Kwanar Dangora, a suburb of Kano. The man pleaded guilty to raping more than 40 women in a year, including an 80-year-old elder.

Police said that for two days the Kano state police was hunting for the man who was known as a rapist.

Kiya said the young man who raped women and girls in the the Dongora metropolis said he was committing the crime himself without the cooperation of anybody.

A woman named Halima Sani is a recently Dangora told reporters that, now girls can sleep with their two eyes closed since the serial rapist has been arrested. The Yalwa District Council in Dangora District said they are glad he has been arrested because his misconduct has led to the destruction of many marriages.
