In the Kenyan capital on a sunny Tuesday, two explosion gunfire were heard at an hotel and office complex. This was the statement made by a woman who was working next to the complex.

An unidentified person was said to have quickly called the attention of others in the building via the available routers in the Dusit hotel, that they were under attack. The local television in a news flash showed smoke rising from the area. Mr Philip Ndolo, the commander of the Nairobi police said that the police prevented movements around the riverside drive due to suspected robbery.
