LAGOS STATE COMMISSIONER FOR HEALTH CONFIRMS THAT 10 PEOPLE ASSOCIATED WITH THE LAGOS STATE HOUSE HAVE TESTED POSITIVE TO CORONA VIRUS

The Lagos state commissioner of health, Prof. Akin Abayomi confirms that ten persons associated with Lagos State House in Marina have tested positive to Covid-19.

Professor Abayomi disclosed this via his official twitter handle and he also made known that the Incident Commander and Governor of Lagos State, Mr. Babajide Sanwo-Olu and his wife Mrs Joke Sanwo-Olu have consistently tested negative to the virus following three consecutive tests conducted on them recently.

He implored residents of Lagos to continue to embrace the use of face mask and observe all precautionary measures such as physical distancing, hand washing and other personal hygiene.

He was quoted saying, “all directives on easing lockdown in Lagos State remain in force. It is our collective responsibility to do all we can to stop the spread of COVID-19 for a greater Lagos,”.
