Some parts of Lagos and Ogun states will be without light from January 13 to January 15 between the hours of 8am and 5pm. This was the statement related by the Transmisson Company of Nigeria.
The outage of power is due to a preventive maintenance which is carried out annually. The maintenance is set to take place at the Ikeja-West 330/132KV Transmisson region in Lagos as disclosed by the General Manager of the Public Affairs Unit, in person of Ms Ndidi Mbah. She further stressed that the affected areas in Lagos include Agbara, Ejigbo and Alimosho and some parts of Ogun state will not be left out.
According to Ms Ndidi Mbah, she says the TCN deeply regrets any inconveniences caused and says that the maintenance will give way for improved electricity supply to consumers.
