Renowned Nigerian artist, Azeez Adeshina Fashola, famously known as Naira Marley, has passionately appealed to his devoted fanbase, known as ‘Marlians,’ to steer clear of drug misuse. The acclaimed singer shared his plea on Thursday, concurrently disclosing his recent collaboration with the National Drug Law Enforcement Agency (NDLEA) in their mission to combat drug abuse.
Naira Marley conveyed that indulging in substance abuse poses serious risks to one’s well-being and can potentially drive individuals towards criminal activities. The melodious ‘Baby Kingsway’ vocalist unveiled that his commitment to the anti-drug movement arises from his strong desire to witness a community free from the clutches of drug abuse.
In his words, “I wholeheartedly urge my loyal fans, the Marlians, as well as all Nigerian youth, to renounce drug usage due to its detrimental impact on your overall health. Let’s collectively put an end to all forms of substance abuse. My support for NDLEA’s campaign is resolute as we work together to eradicate drugs from our streets.
