NATIONAL YOUTH COUNCIL OF NIGERIA PROTEST AGAINST LESBIANISM, GAY MARRIAGE AND TRANSGENDER

The National Youth Council of Nigeria (NYCN) yesterday protested against activities of Lesbians, Gay, Bisexual and Transgender (LGBT) in the society, describing them as immoral and not of Nigeria’s culture.

Vice President, North Central NYCN, Akoshile Mukhtar who stated this during the protest on Wednesday in Abuja, called on parents to monitor and guide their wards and ensure that they inculcate in them good morals and values.

He also called on Nigerians, especially youths who are contemplating joining the LGBT group, not to do so.

He stated further that the act is not only alien to our culture but ungodly and even unhealthy to humans. Only animals engage in these acts.

He concluded saying that as leaders of tomorrow the youths should report anyone who encourages them to engage in the LGBT. He then promised to do all he can to kick them out.
