NFF PRESIDENT CALLS EMERGENCY MEETING AS SUPER EAGLES SKIPPER TENDERS APOLOGY

After a less impressive performance by Nigeria’s Super Eagles against Leone Stars of Sierra Leone in the 2021 African Cup Of Nations qualifier, team captain on behalf of the team has tendered an unreserved apology and promised to put things right in the return leg.

After scoring 4 goals in the first half, Nigeria allowed Sierra Leone to equalize the game in the second half and ended the bout 4 -4.

After the match former Leicester City winger apologised to Nigerians and vowed to put things right next week in Freetown.

Meanwhile, Nigeria Football Federation ( NFF) President Amaju Melvin Pinnick has summoned the team technical crew to an emergency meeting slated for Saturday to discuss and channel a new course for the team.
