Renowned Nigerian artist Daniel Benson, also known as BNXN (formerly Buju), has set his sights on achieving legendary status in the Nigerian music industry and believes that winning a Grammy is within his grasp.
In a recent feature for Teen Vogue’s Africa’s New Wave, BNXN was highlighted alongside Ayra Starr and Victony. The talented singer-songwriter expressed his determination to leave a lasting impact on the music scene.
While BNXN acknowledged the significance of winning the 2022 Headies Award for Next Rated Artist, he emphasized that his ultimate goal is not solely focused on accolades. He firmly believes that his passion and dedication to his craft will inevitably lead him to Grammy recognition.
“I’m grateful for the recognition with the Headies Award, but it’s not my ultimate goal. I’m going to win a Grammy by staying true to my music and who I am. My aim is to attain legendary status in this industry, and whether or not I receive a Grammy, I will keep striving for excellence,” BNXN stated confidently.
With unwavering determination and a focus on his artistic journey, BNXN’s musical ambitions are poised to take him to new heights, paving the way for a bright future as a potential music legend.
