Music diva, Yemi Alade has made history as the first African female artist to hit one million subscribers on video streaming platform, YouTube.
Recall that this feat was reached months after she became the second Nigerian artist to hit hundred million views on YouTube for the song, ‘Johnny’.
Yemi Alade announced the news via her instagram page and she also used the medium to reflect on her musical career which she began six years ago.
With this feat, Alade joins other entertainers who have over one million subscribers, including the defunct P-Square (1.2 million), Davido (1.5 million) and Diamond Platnumz (2.1 million).
