Nnamdi Kanu Appeals to Federal High Court: Send Me to Kuje Prison

Nnamdi Kanu, detained leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB), has made a plea to the Federal High Court, requesting to be transferred to Kuje prison. Kanu alleges that the Department of State Services (DSS) lacks adequate medical facilities to treat his health condition, raising concerns of a conspiracy for him to perish in their custody.

Expressing his dire medical situation, Kanu revealed, “They don’t have a medical facility. I have congestive heart failure. They are patching me up. My foot is swollen. I asked them to conduct surgery, and they said they couldn’t. There is a conspiracy to die in detention. I want to be transferred to Kuje.”

Kanu’s appeal underscores the urgency of his health concerns and the need for appropriate medical attention. As the legal proceedings unfold, his plea sheds light on the conditions faced by detainees and the importance of ensuring their well-being while in custody.
