PASTOR ARRESTED AND CHARGED TO COURT FOR DRUGGING AND RAPING 19 OLD GIRL INSIDE HIS CHURCH IN DELTA STATE

A General Overseer of the Victory Revival Fasting and Prayer Ministry in Warri, Bishop Elijah Orhonigbe, has been charged to court for raping a teenage girl of 19yrs old in his church hall on Wednesday, May 20, 2020.

It was recorded that the pastor had invited the girl and her mum into the church for deliverance session by telling them he sees the spirit of death over her family, he got to rape the young girl during the deliverance session and drugged her to take advantage of her, the police commandant of the Warri area of Delta state ACP Mohammed Garba disclosed these to the public while taking the suspect to court.

ACP Garba said the pastor had gone missing after he had committed the crime. He was later was arrested on 5th of June, 2020.

The ACP rendered some talks from the pastor null and void claiming that the police had asked to bribe them to drop the case.

The young girl said, the pastor had persuaded her mum Mrs Taye Edema to bring her for deliverance as he saw vision of an internet fraudster using an handkerchief to clean up her body to use her for ritual during a moment of her sleeping with the fraudster.

The girl disclosed that it was at the deliverance scene that the pastor gave her oil to drink and to rub to her genital area before the pastor tell her to go naked and lie flat on the mat in the church.

Responding to the crime, the Commissioner of police CP Mohammed Hafuz Inuwa, said that investigation as regards the matter is still on. He further promised that justice shall prevail over the wicked.
