Obi spoke tothe traders in his native tongue, Igbo, saying the PDP was the answer to the various problems facing Nigeria’s economy as the party had mapped out a blueprint for a turnaround.

He continued further, saying that the party’s presidential candidate, Alhaji Atiku Abubakar, understands the economy better than any other candidate having successfully managed the economy as Vice-President under the Obasanjo led administration. Obi added that Atiku had managed several private companies successfully and that he would bring his acumen and experience to bear on the economy.

Obi said with his experience gathered as former governor of Anambra State and in business, he and Atiku would put the economy in the path of recovery.
